Subject: Mass. Campgrounds Berkshires Author: Pequea Uploaded By: Pequea Date: 4/26/1995 File: REG-A.TXT (6990 bytes) Estimated Download Time (25094 baud): < 1 minute Download Count: 90 Equipment: Any Computer Needs: Any Word Processor or Text Reader TEXT FILE Here is a list and description of 12 private campgrounds from which one can enjoy the lovely Berkshire Mountains of western Massachusetts. The southern Berkshires are home to the Norman Rockwell Museum; the central Berkshires host Tanglewood, the summer home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra; and in the north is one of New England's most scenic drives, the Mohawk Trail, a 63-mile stretch which was originally an Indian footpath. This road is not to be missed during fall foliage. Don't miss the beautiful Sterling & Clark Museum at Williams college. A number of these campgrounds are open all year to accommodate skiers and snowmobilers. This is a text file that can be opened with AOL.
